Mission Statement

The SAGAA Regulatory and Advocacy Committee (RAC) seeks to inform policy to be accommodating of and accessible to the LGBTQ+ community across U.S. marketplaces influenced by actuarial science, particularly the insurance marketplace. In pursuit of this goal, we evaluate current and proposed regulations and practices in the insurance industry that could impact the LGBTQ+ community. We engage with the industry, regulators, and interested parties where appropriate.
